FIT Release 2024.4 – October 2024
The new FIT Release 2024.4 is now available and released for Microsoft Windows platform. Please look below for the enhancements and changes of the different modules.
The release is available for all customers with maintenance agreement and access to our Customer Information Center (CIC) for download (please create a release activity).
All customers who have no access to our CIC platform and want to download the software over CIC have to require access over the following link. Please send an email to service@aplusb-solutions.com if you want the release on a data medium.
The FIT modules as well as all additional modules are released for the Microsoft operating system Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022 Server as well Windows 10 and 11. We support also the databases Microsoft SQL Server 2017, 2019, 2022, and Oracle 12c.
FIT-MI-Server
Enhancements
- The NC programme or directory can be prevented from being overwritten when requesting
Bugfixes/Changes
- DirectMode: Fixed a problem where special characters such as # and % were not processed in the password for the SMB connection
FIT-HI-WebMenu
Enhancements
- Optimisation corrections IFS messages

- Extension of the search in the FIT part data management to the last revision
Bugfixes/Changes
- When editing files in the comparator (line edit mode), umlauts and special characters were replaced by HTML sequences. This problem has been solved.
- When inserting multiple lines in the comparator (line editing mode), they were inserted in the wrong order. This problem has been solved.
FIT-HI-DNC
Enhancements
- When logging DNC transmissions in the time data, order information can now also be logged for order-related calls from FIT-HI-MES.
- It is now possible to configure that certain part file types are not displayed in FIT-HI-DNC.
- For order-related calls from FIT-HI-MES, additional files from other part records referenced via configurable order fields can be displayed/transferred
- For order-related calls from FIT-HI-MES, file names of transferred files/NC programmes can also be formed from order fields
FIT-HI-MES
Enhancements
- The transportrequest table has been extended to include all fields from the order table (Ordrtable).
- Generated time data records can be displayed under ‘Recent Orders’
- The DNC link can now be configured in the FIT MES administration depending on the workstation
- Authentication for downloading files is supported via the OAuth2 protocol
Bugfixes/Changes
- When copying signal configurations, ‘failsource’ was incorrectly entered for saving for inheritance to compound signals if nothing was configured there in the source configuration. This problem has been solved.
FIT-ERPConnect
Enhancements
- The information as to whether the message was successfully processed by IFS is written to the time data record.
