FIT Release 2024.2 – April 2024

The new FIT Release 2024.2 is now available and released for Microsoft Windows platform. Please look below for the enhancements and changes of the different modules.

The release is available for all customers with maintenance agreement and access to our Customer Information Center (CIC) for download (please create a release activity).

All customers who have no access to our CIC platform and want to download the software over CIC have to require access over the following link. Please send an email to service@aplusb-solutions.com if you want the release on a data medium.

The FIT modules as well as all additional modules are released for the Microsoft operating system Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022 Server as well Windows 10 and 11. We support also the databases Microsoft SQL Server 2017, 2019, 2022, and Oracle 12c.

FIT Server

Changes/Bugfixes

• Problems with the creation of new data records in connection with SQL Server Merge Replication have been fixed.

FIT-MI-Server

Enhancements

• Upgrade internal Tomcat to version 9.0.86.

FIT-HI-Server

Enhancements

• Apache Tomcat has been updated to version 9.0.86.
• An additional FITAddOnTomcat for e.g. the CAMIntegrator can now be installed and is automatically updated via the FIT-HI server setup.

FIT-HI-WebMenu

Enhancements

• It is now possible to use an extension table with additional data fields for part data and order data.
• There is now a new Messages module for displaying the database table for error messages, e.g. from ERPConnect.

Bugfixes/Changes

• It was not possible to search the message text in the SOAP and REST protocol modules. This problem has been fixed.
• When displaying data records in Excel, line breaks in the field contents are now replaced by spaces to avoid display errors.
• The saved sequence was not taken into account when assigning mask sets.
  This has been resolved.

FIT-HI-DNC

Enhancements

• When calling from an external system, it is now also possible to jump to the display of the last requested part.

Bugfixes/Changes

• Under certain circumstances, the view of part data details no longer worked. This problem has been resolved.
• Upload with automatic revision increment did no longer work in V2024.1. This problem has been resolved.

FIT-HI-MES

Enhancements

• Data record fields of the order data extension table can now also be displayed.
• In operation mode order report, it is now possible to configure that a specific function key dialog is opened directly when an order is selected via barcode scanner.
• A special booking action for booking actual times calculated from planned times and entered quantities has been added to the order report operation mode.
• The configuration of selectboxes in the function key dialog is now also possible in operation mode order report.
• In operation mode assembly bookings via webservice are now executed according to the configured operation sequence.

Bugfixes/Changes

• The display of files failed if the file name contained certain special characters. This problem has been resolved.
• For actions that perform a booking on an order automatically requested via MDA, regardless of the currently selected order, the information in the email notification and logging now correctly refers to the order transmitted via MDA.
• The configured security policy was not correctly applied in OPC UA connections in Sign & Encrypt security mode. This problem has been fixed.
• Under certain circumstances webservice bookings where carried out several times. This problem has been resolved.
